Re: Mortal Kombat
that skin disappointed me for 2 reasons, 1 was b/c you had to work your ass off to get through 300 challenges in the challenge tower. And two its great and all that but its only 1 costume i mean 300 challenges for 1 costume? good thing i played for 6 hours straight to get that.

Well Hito to top it off that you dont play online you have to also buy a kombat pass to access that online area. I pre-ordered the game so i got a free one to start me off. I just dont have gold hahaha.

Re: Mortal Kombat
No, you only pay for kombat pass to access online if you buy it USED.
This goes for any new games coming out by EA/WB now.

Re: Mortal Kombat
Every new copies will come with some sort of online passes if the publisher pushes for it, so you enter the code in the game from the paper in the case and you get access to online community.
Buying used copies will usually have their code used up, meaning you will have to pay 8-10 dollars for a code to enter in to access the online community.
This is how publisher can profit from used copies because they make zero money everytime people buy used copies because retail aren't ordering more from the publisher.

Recently alot of developers are starting to do this. When you buy a game new, they include a "online code," to allow you to access online multi-player and any other feature the game has online. If you buy the game used from EB Games, GameStop, Blockbuster or wherever they sell used games, your going to have to go online with the developer ( www.ea.com / etc etc) and purchase an online code for that game. New Games = Online capability right out of the box. Used Games = Have to pay an extra 8-10 dollars for the online portion of the game.

Re: Mortal Kombat
What's hilarious about buying used is that you only saves like what 5 bucks on the latest release game and you have to spend more than what you would if you bought it brand new just to access online feature.
