 Final Fantasy XIII
This game owns.
Though I'm not sure it'll be better than XII (that game owned, also), but gd 1080p >>>>> ass PS2 graphics. I kinda wish I knew I was going to have to use shit to level my stuff so I didn't sell it like it was just loot (like in XII). Oh well.

 Re: Final Fantasy XIII
I've got it for the xbox. When I get back to school it's getting plugged in to my receiver, getting played over my 1080p 40" tv, and over my 2kw 7.1 surround sound system. Shit is going to be so legit. I'm going to be gone from everything for like two weeks while I beat it.

 Re: Final Fantasy XIII
That's it. I'm getting it now. The last FF I played was FF X and that was great.

 Re: Final Fantasy XIII
Any idea if there's a store where I can buy it and return it if it was opened?

 Re: Final Fantasy XIII
Well I mean he said he was waiting for gamefly to ship it... isn't that a rental place?
Why would he be trying to sell back a rental one?

 Re: Final Fantasy XIII
Alrighty, rephrase for hooker: gamefly takes for ever to ship games that are in demand. So, what I want to do: I want to go to store X, buy said game, then return it once my gamefly copy comes in. I was asking if anyone knew a store X that takes back open PS3 games.
I have a GF-free 5 days starting tomorrow, and some FF would kick ass

 Re: Final Fantasy XIII
Naw.
There's a register your copy online thing in it. I mean you could return it to like EB Games as a trade in...
Most places wont buy it back from you at full price though. Most places will just be like was it defective? No? Then keep it.
You could always just sell it online for like $50, $10 under the actual price so someone buys it.

 Re: Final Fantasy XIII
It got a little boring for a little bit in the beginning, then it started and continues to kick ass.

 Re: Final Fantasy XIII
Super can't tell the difference between guys and girls anyways. You can't consider him gay for F*CKING guys after becoming aware of that knowledge.

 Re: Final Fantasy XIII
So, I played a solid 12 hours of this yesterday. I'm onto disk 2. As far as I've seen...it's really linear. It's not like ff12 where you can venture out on a huge huge huge open plain...and I haven't found any secret passages like there were in ff12. Maybe I'm missing them, but I'm being pretty thorough with my searches.
The beginning is boring as sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeets. And the exp system is incredibly strange. I'm not used to having to upgrade items. I think I liked buying them better. And it frustrates me that the parties are always split so you're constantly switching storylines and I can never have a static party. My lightning is F*CKING filthy.

 Re: Final Fantasy XIII
Gamefly hasn't shipped me F*CKING FF13 yet but they did just send out GoW3.
Two things I always hated: split up teams where I'd keep having to level up others and having weaklings on one team. That, and the god damn octagon rod or whatever it was called for my black mage (vivi) in ff9 where u couldn't buy it if you went on to the 4th CD or some shit like that and couldn't get the spell-agas. (firaga, iceaga, thundaga), etc..

 Re: Final Fantasy XIII
One thing I forgot to mention is the battle system and the star system. F*CK that bullshit. F*CK it hard. You can't use anything but auto-battle because it'll take you down in stars and half the time the auto battle system picks the inferior tactic. My Lightning does 1.5k base damage with her regular attack. The Auto battle system shoots four ruins that each do 500. 6k dmg or 2k? F*CK that.
