6. What were you banned for?: Okay, so.. here is where the novel begins.
Super early yesterday morning I was pubbing alone and since all the servers I normally reg in were empty I stumbled upon your server.
I joined and it was approximately 4v4, first round I spawned closer to B site on D2 so I rushed, after I died I was told by an admin by the name of "Slayer" to not go B until it was 5v5. I never went B again after that, but one or two of my teamates did, one of them being my friend Kitty, who had just joined and did not hear the admin say A only, the teamate who went with her was only going to irritate the admin. Slayer then told our team that if one person goes B site he was going to slay everyone on T side. Over mic I said that it was not fair for him to penalize our entire team for what one or two people were doing. I was told "Actually, I can do whatever I want."; now, as a former admin of several different communities in my time of playing CS I have never been the type to hold my admin powers over the heads of regular players in the server. I was half awake and this really irritated me, my response was "People buying admin and throwing their power around, how typical." Slayer and another admin friend of his then told me to go play elsewhere if i didn't like it. Of course in all of this there was probably a few F-Bombs and other things thrown around from both sides of this, but I figured I would leave that out for everyone's sake. My friends were joining the server as I was leaving because they were following to get in game with me, and after I left for a little bit they convinced me to rejoin the server because they were both playing in there. I rejoined and they were on a different map by that point, I was asked if i had calmed down and I had no real answer to that because I didn't really want to be back in the first place due to my run in with those guys shortly before. My friends weren't necessarily being super nice, but neither were they, and we all kind of joked around and played. I left after that map finished and started playing another game. I then received a friends request from the name "Ashleigh "GNARcandy" Nadeau" which, if you can guess is my full name. It was Slayer who had added me, I asked him what he wanted as he said "Just to say hi." I replied with "Are you sure? Or are you just trying to troll me and show off your copy and paste skills?" he said "No, i didn't have to. Someone else in the server did it for me. There's 4 of us now." And indeed, there were a bunch of Ashleigh "GNARcandy" Nadeaus playing in the server, his admin friend I'm assuming went to my profile and copied it out and they were I guess trying to troll me for whatever reason. I didn't have much to say to him after that so i said "Happy trolling" and deleted him. When I told my friend Kitty what they had done with the name changing she got mad and went back in the server and spammed a bind she had, they banned her, and she switched to another steam account she has and did it again and got banned. I did not ask her to do this, and as much as it wasn't right of me not to stop her, at that point I didn't really think that spamming a bind in chat was anywhere near as bad as what they had done to me. To clarify, I never went back in the server after the second map which I played with my friends. Especially after the name changing. Later on that evening I was added by JoeMomma and Badguy and was told that I was banned from the server and they wanted to ask why, I laughed and said that I didn't even know I was banned and that I wasn't entirely sure why. I didn't necessarily take into account that they would ban me for what someone else did, but that seemed to be a trend that day. I explained basically everything that I've said here to both JoeMomma and Badguy and they tried to reassure me that the way I was treated by the members of their community wasn't something that happened often if ever and that they were going to look further into the matter for me. Talking to Badguy today he says that there is a bit of a debate going on whether or not I should be unbanned, truthfully, I did not want to come in here and say any of this at all, as much as I tried to shrug off what they did as no big deal, they embarrassed me a lot more then I'd like to admit, which I'm sure was their plan. Why they chose to pick solely on me when the majority of the comments were coming from my friends I'm not entirely sure. But THAT is my side of the story. If you guys don't want me to play in your servers then it's whatever, I can't take any of what happened back. But I at least would like to clear my name at least partially and as for an apology, I'm not entirely sure I owe one. I'm for the most part a "call it as I see it" type of person, and if I think someone is in the wrong I don't have any problem telling them that, admin or not. I will apologize on behalf of my friends, but they were only acting out of response to everything else that had happened. I like to think I'm not as shitty of a person as they have probably made me out to be, I've been playing this game the majority of my life and being female I get hated on a lot, this will definitely stick out in my mind however, whatever happens with all of this I won't forget it.

7. Comments: I'd like to thank JoeMomma and Badguy for adding me and trying to rectify all of this, it's rare that you find people that will go out of their way to help fully understand a situation, so props to them.

how about this start over tell the whole truth and apoligize we will consider your request.dont come in here telling half truths and expect to get unbanned if you can do that ill give my aproval and we can act like nothing ever happened .(you are the first person to ever complain about my admining) .for the higher ups both pengiun who is a regular and fuzzy where there to colaborate my story if need be.

I was asked to come in and explain my side of the story, and that is it.

Actually, I said that there were equally shitty things said between both parties. It was what happened well after I'd left the server that was way overboard.
If you want to keep me banned then it is what it is.

Ok, first I would like to say that I am not in "n00bfest" nor have I ever been. I'm am not an admin, just a regular who happend to be there when most of this took place. My opinions here are my own.

1) You forgot to mention the part where the T team was told MANY times by myself and admins online at the time to quit planting B when there are less than 5 CT's. You forgot to mention the part where individual slaying took place and im sure you know how irritating it is to point out who keeps going and planting B. I was on T's for a portion of the time and gave up repeating myself once the admin were doing it and I was auto balanced to CT.

2) You forgot to mention the parts about how you were going off about how "shitty the admin" are and "thats why the server was dead" on a weekday morning. I know I got a good laugh out of that comment. I'm pretty sure this server does really well for weekday mornings.

3) You forget that after you got banned, it was over. Then your "D1vinity" fan club decided to come and spam binds in the server. You wanna play the troll game? We're playing. Now you want to be unbanned and want this attention to go away? I dont think so. Just look at the title of this thread. "Situation". JFC, you could have just moved on, and it would be done. You said the server and its admin suck, so why would you want to be unbanned? This thead is only looking for more attention, but this time its pity and not worship.

4) You are an attention whore. You got attention. Yes, I was one of the people who copy and pasted "Ashleigh "GNARcandy" Nadeau" as my name which I got from your PUBLIC STEAM PROFILE which is why you now set it to private. 5) Then theres this gem from your very own "fanpage". A truly accurate representation of what happened. I'm glad I copy and pasted it this morning after I spoke to an Elder about posting my version of the story on this thread. You know, I gave it a change. I said I wasnt going to post here if everyone was just going to "let bygones be bygones", but since you cant open your mouth without lying or screaming for attention, I guess I have to tell my version of events.

Well since we seem to have opened this thread up to anyone who wants to post I will add a few things.

Penguin, I reviewed the chat logs from this incident and your behavior was deplorable so I would can the holier than thou attitude.

Based on what I saw the situation should have been handled differently and not allowed to escalate. Behavior on both sides was immature and adolescent in nature.

As far as I am concerned everyone involved owes the other side an apology.

I have no idea who you are. I dont recall seeing you there. The only context you have is your "chat logs" which does not include anything said over voice, Steam messages, ect. What did you see? For all I know you're just reading your chat logs and making assumptions. Opening up this thread to anyone who wants to post? I was there and it concerns me. Sorry man, but that comment is really only referring to your post.

If you think the way Slayer used his admin was "wrong" then you must have a really big problem with this server, the way admin is used, and the way people act. IMO, Slayer escalated his use of admin powers properly. (Warning > Individual slay > Beacon > Team slay) seems very fair to me, and remember, there were only like 7 or 8 people on the server, so its not like "team slay" was killing off 10 people on a side. Do you even play in this server? I'm pretty sure the last person to tell an admin they're "F*CKING retarded" and "this server sucks" got banned too, and then when their mangina fanbois come back on multiple accounts and spam the server with binds, the whole clan gets banned too.

My behavior was bad? When was the last time there was an incident involving me where something like this happened? Go read your "chat logs" and paint me like one of your French girls, Jack. I hardly have an "holier than thou" attitude. I'm pretty sure im more inclined to say I fucked something up before I ever say that its perfect, provided that it's true. If you think I respond this way all the time im in disagreement, you're wrong. I have a lot of time to waste, but I at least make good use of my wasted time.

There is a lot of reason out side of your "chat logs" that made respond the way we did.

If you think that this is what happens every time someone gets banned from the server, or every time an admin uses the slay all command, you're way off. I havnt done anything related to this incident since the day of, aside from posting here and saving the screenshot from her fan page.

All I see here is that an attention whore got banned, she wants unban, she cries wolf, she didnt get what she wanted, and her own words are that shes over it. This issue, as it concerns me (as just a user) is done. You guys can go figure out whether or not admin was abused or w/e as a clan.

As much as I am enjoying this back and forth, this isn't the place, if you want to discuss this further, general discussion or CS:S and make threads there, I think this topic has ran its course. If she and her buddies want to get unbanned, she needs to send an apology either to elders@n00bfest.com or pm the elders or even slayer. Otherwise unless G or an elder thinks this needs to go further then they can unlock it.

Side Note: Penguin, I expect better from you in future interactions on the forums. You were allowed your first post on this topic because as G said, you were bringing more info to the table. Your reaction to Shredders post was uncalled for and honestly ill advised for anybody, especially a non-n00bfest member to an respected admin of the server. Yes, you were there. Yes, she was banned by one of our admins and from what I have been reading, the ban will stand unless it is reversed by the higher ups. You made your point, and Shredder could only go by what he could see from what information he could have and he had every right as a Respected Admin of n00bfest to do so. You, however, did not. Yes maybe Shredder broke the rules for making a post when "The banning admin, the banned, or higher up is only allowed to post" but you are a bigger offender in this because you are none of the above and not a [n00b] member. I will take the blame for first allowing you to post here but I can't allow blatant flaming of one of our members.
