Post Team Scramble or Side Switch?
Instead of a timelimit on the server can you make it so that it goes to 7 rounds then does a team scramble/side switch and then does another 7 rounds or something of that sort? There are a lot of people that join the easy on every map and people have been complaining on the server about it and I thought this might be a good idea. It seems that 14 rounds total is the average amount of rounds each map goes to so 7 rounds both sides would be good and then switching everyone would give everyone a taste of both sides.

I remember being on a server where it automatically switched teams after 15 rounds and played 30 round maps.

There was a timer on it too, just to make sure that those 30 rounds didn't go beyond 40 minutes or so. I prefer n00b's 25 minute maps over 40 minutes of that shit though. But I do like the concept of being able to play both sides.

While team stacking is a consistent problem with the pub, I think n00bfest's position not to do something as you are suggesting.

What we like is that Admins monitor and manually do player shifting if there is a stacking issue that is causing unbalanced gameplay.

If you don't like how the teams are stacking and see an unbalance. Urge the player to switch teams or politely ask an admin to consider doing some switching of players.

What happens when there's no admin in the server?

Also a quicker way to solve the team stacking issue would be just disabling actually choosing a team and only allowing Auto Assign.

While this is a semi-good idea, any added plug-ins will make the bullet reg worse and there is usually 1 or more admins online to do any balancing

n00bs keep it even or they aren't n00bs anymore.

This!

If you play well, and you know you're going to rape faces, join the teams last. That way you can help keep one side more even. It's a no brainer, folks. Just use common F*CKING sense instead of - Oh! It's Italy! I'm gonna be a T or Oh! It's Dust! I'm gonna be a CT or Oh! It's Aztec! I'm gonna be a CT or Oh! Reborn joined the CT side, I'm gonna be on his team!
