Hey guys I know we have discussed the rotation in the past but I feel some of the maps really are server killers or they are just plain disliked.

Some of the maps include
Aztec
Mill


I think we should try to replace those maps with something else

Militia would be something different aswell and replace replace aztec with lost temple or vegas

Aztec doesn't kill the server, militia did. We tested it before. You're not going to get the rotation changed. Better off convincing an admin to change it if it does kill the server.

Mill actually has killed the server more than prodigy lately. I told Clorox to post this to be considered since TONS of regulars and n00bs want to see a change in the rotation. It's not just him, he's voicing this for quite a bit of people. If we don't have the option to take maps out, maybe we could add a couple more. And Hooker- You don't even play CSS anymore.

It is a server killer. Every damn time we play this map, we have to wait until the next one to have people joining.

And aztec isn't that bad after all since most of the people playing start to know how to rush, makes it a bit more interesting than before. But yeah, please change Mill, that shit gets really old

Feels like the last week or so Mill has been one of the more popular maps and has been really full at least in my experience. I havent seen any problems with aztec either. My big issue is with chateau seems like most people moan and groan at that map, but lets face it most of the times when the server is full it stays full regardless of the map.

Even if I don't, I still understand the maps very well. And I still remember what kills the server. It may have shifted now because we've lost players to battlefield. It shouldn't have shifted much, however.

With that out of the way, I agree that mill sucks, but I will never agree with the idea that Aztec kills the server. If the teams are balanced I am willing to bet the server remains full. Prodigy will always kill the server more than Aztec. At least on Aztec, if you have a reasonable team, you can take dd. On prodigy you can't take either. It's two choke points, and that's it. The ts are fucked.

Take Chateau out completely, no need to replace maps - just remove it. I don't mind Prodigy - it's one sided but it's messy and that's good.

I have a soft spot for prodigy because I remember how much of a challenge it was back when it was a CAL map (mostly for 1.6 and a season of Source) because it was the one map where everyone spent at least a week working on strats.

Sine I am always in the server I do think that 2 maps do kill the server. Those two maps being prodigy and aztec. When the server is full it makes it hard for the attacking sides to push when there are only two or three main entrances then those guys get frustrated and end up leaving the server. Then people have to switch sides to make the teams even and it just causes a chain reaction of people rage quitting.

I'd like a map variations to Prodigy, Aztec, Italy and some of our other maps to increase the choke points. I know Italy has one (played it a long time ago though) and winter dust2 in the rotation would be nice o.O
