I know we have the council, and i respect that. but i would like to see a poll box on current discussions, topics, problems, in our community, im not sure if we even have one, but it would entail only having one vote per-member so no spamming can or could happen, maybe rcts and or just noob members only, this may better help the over all mind set of our Noob Community

The reason this won't work is because several different things are considered for n00b membership; we keep the council (the voting body) deliberately small so membership doesn't become a popularity contest.

yeah i get that, but i was more in wonder of how you guys know what your community wants ):

Resin, the best way to go about is to not think too much about it at all, because it's much simpler and straight forward than you think.

1. Play regularly on our server.
2. Respect the admins and be courteous to n00b members.
3. Obey the server rules, and obey the admins.
3. Be active on the forum.
4. Be patient.

Being active on the forum doesn't mean racking up post counts. Just post naturally instead of trying to force it. The best way to go about it is by treating this board like a place you that you really like to be. Post here because you like this place, and not because you think of it as a requirement.

You don't have to do anything to "please" anyone. Just be yourself and be respectful.

Leave the rest to the council, and everything will happen in time.

So stop worrying about these things and have fun :)

kitty that is what i was wondering , and reborn no disrespect but im not trying to force or nothing im just being me, things sometime greatly interest me, though it may seem it is something else. i like what i see in the CSS clan, and was just looking forwards bypassing if i become a noob or not. trying to make progress for all rather than for myself.

If the kid has idea's let him share, if there good they might make it to fruition and if not well then he gets flamed to death. Either way is entertaining to all of us so I say go for it Resin!

Aparently forum activity annoys people now.

I think the kind of poll box that Resin Cactus is talking about is a sidebar style poll box that everyone can vote on the latest issue at, or see the results of the most recent poll if nothing is being voted on. We already do polls but they're thread-specific and he was wondering if it would bring the community to a more obvious point of agreement or decision if these polls were placed directly on the page as a sort-of permanent fixture similar to how the banner/menu are permanent fixtures.
