Lately it seems that some of the newer admin are going a lil crazy with their powers.

In the past month I keep seeing admin spam messages such as "Winning team drop the Awps." And thank God Jincrypt (an admin himself) made the realization that no where in the forums or rules that is stated as a rule of n00bfest. And he quickly corrected the frustrated admin from abusing his power.

And I understand that camping can be very frustrating when you get killed by it. But at times, a little camping means the difference between killing 4-5 people or getting pwned real quick.
Especially when there is 2 min left in the game and you keep seeing messages to "Complete Objective or be Slayed" from admin who got killed quick and want the round over.

I just would like to see admin pull their reins back a little bit and let people in the server enjoy playing the game. Correct me if I am wrong, but arent admin in the game just to prevent Abuse, Tking, Hacking, and include Votes and Map Changes?

There's a thread I made about the awp thing going on right now, so I dunno what is gonna happen for sure with that. All I can say is I think that it should either be enforced fully or not at all. I've pretty much talked about it enough for the time being so I'm not gonna say anything else on that.

I just got out of the main server and all I saw were tsay spams. Most of them were to get the hosties/defuse or stfu when dead. No one was really complaining about it though.

I agree that some admins have been abusing and need to control themselves.

Admins just need to remember that they are only useful to the community as long as they are making the game the most fun for the most people. If they fail to do so, they are quite expendable. We have plenty of applicants.

On maps like Italy, where some CT is sitting in spawn and waiting for T's, I'm gonna slay his ass.

I would do the same, AFTER I say get the hosties or be slayed. I hate it when ct's camp spawn on hostie maps, only t's camp spawn on those maps. But on bomb site maps its a little different. Ct's camp bombsites and t's mainly rush and can camp bombsite after the bomb is planted. But a ct shouldn't be camping anywhere when the bomb is planted.

The tsay's are getting a little out of hand. But, I know that admins do it to other admins to pick fun. I was playing not long ago and I was a t in dust walking slowly against 4 other people with the bomb going to a bombsite, and well tsay went up that had something to do with me and said PLANT THE BOMB OR BE SL AYED. I knew who it was because we were joking around before, then the tsay said Teehee. So I knew they were joking and I had no problem with it. But if its an rct or fellow pubber, I don't think we should do that to them unless its necessary. I believe admins can do it to other admins as long as you let them know your messin with them and putting more fun in the game.

agreed with the italy thing, but i was about to make a demo one day when i was playing cause there was about 800 admin msg in about 2 min. i can understand the reasons y u might want to put the messages up, but come on there is a limit. and when i said 800 messages, thats got to be an understatement. it was the most retarded thing i have ever seen. they didnt even have the message up long enough to read before a new 1 was put up.

I see admins using there force more and more. I beleive it is due to all the new admins. I myself and new to it but have decided to step back when a higher ranking admin is on the server.

Definitely agreed. I think that the new admins want to try out their new leet powerz and it's fun for awhile...but enough is enough! I mean, really, I'm a new admin too and it's fun to be able to do some new things, but the purpose of an admin is to maintain order in the servers, and yeah, you can have some fun too, but people need to know what's annoying and what's funny. Kind of a fine line sometimes, but it all comes down to social skills. I think that a gentle reminder at first from a higher ranking admin thru the psay thing would be in order and discipline would take place if the suggestion was ignored. Maybe a sticky post about this subject in the Admin forum would be a good idea? Sometimes a little bit of power can do strange things to people, we have all seen the result of that with various individuals (no names need be mentioned.)

This is partially what the admin rankings are for. Senior admins should take control of this situation and not be part of the problem. The admins need to settle down with the constant tsay and BS. If you think there's some "RULE" that needs to be enforced because of team stacking or AWP abuse, it is the job of the SENIOR ADMIN in the server to make that decision. If they do not approve of the action, don't do it. If they don't approve of the action and you think they're wrong, report it as abuse.

Since I'm only a 'rank for the most part I sit back and let the higher ranks do the work. The reason I got admin in the first place it for when there are few admins in the server or when something needs to be done and everyone else is busy at the moment. I will occasionally but tsay up like I ♥ boobies or something but not often. I agree with the spam though and if you want to try your commands thats fine just try to do it in a calm way and if possible when not many people are around.
