The only thing I don't like is when someone first joins the server and a team may be down by one or two rounds and they give 16k cash to the team they join for no apparent reason. People must think I'm joking or something when I ask them why they do that, but I'm not.
That reminds me. I have some work to do tonight.
If I join and I see a team down more than 4 or 5 I give cash to that team.
LOLQUE?

Re: Server Ingame Money Management
Nope.
One of the biggest attractions of CS is the fact that it's a pick up and play game and not some giant grind like an MMO. This is only going to imbalance it towards people who play a lot, are on the winning team a lot, or love lots of other men.

Re: Server Ingame Money Management
The concept of starting with 16k is pretty awesome. I mean everyone starts out on even footing with that. Plus the money issue becomes moot and then all that is left is enforcing the skill on both sides. You can still maintain the pistol and knife rounds. Then at that point all you're doing is switching a couple of people around.
When you guys even the teams that only lasts for a few rounds and then the other side is stacked. It's a constant job and pain in the ass for you having to maintain that throughout the day. Why not issue warns/kicks/ bans to people that consistently stack easy sides? Like T on office? There's quite a few people that like to sit on the cushy side all the time to pad their scores. The biggest issue is the consistent players you see in the server on a daily basis stacking sides. So why not spend the time in making them wise up and stop being douche bags. Over time won't that eventually remove a large portion of the issue?
A server I've been on when n00b's totally empty is that Ninjagirl server, and they keep cash at $800 first round and let it build up like normal until the 3rd round and then they give everyone 16k. Still, wouldn't be cool to be just like them it might be a good idea though.

Re: Server Ingame Money Management
This thread is content. on one hand the lack of money is irritating, but this enables the use of different weapons by people who usally just use the M4 or the AK, [whether or not that is lame.] as for admins giving themselves a gun, i believe that is up to them since they have the power, though it would be nice if they [if on the losing team] would hand the rest of their team the same weapon.
The thought of having 16k every round would only decrease player skill in mangaing money, as such for tournaments or something of that nature. also decrease liklyness to adapt to the game as a whole.
i prefer pistols then subm an then rifles. rarly scouts since that is only when i am pissed enough to hs ppl across a map.

The thing with giving people 16k is that you can just join spec and get 16k again, which is gay.
