It's not like they'd prevent you from posting if they don't like your opinion. Moderation is used in lots of places to prevent people from being outright obnoxious.

This thread is retarded and again illustrates the inability within this community to have an intelligent conversation about political issues. I have high hopes that the establishment of said rules of a new political forum will quickly eliminate anyone who resorts to petty name calling, over-generalizations, and all around unintelligible thought.
I would like to request myself as a mod for said forum when the site is updated.
