I don't have a problem with a political discussion, I have a problem with a wall of text. I don't bother reading most of the posts in that forum because I don't want to link to another site just to read 12 different articles that support the same general ideas. I also don't want to read a long stretched out post with supporting evidence if the message you're trying to tell us can be limited to a much shorter paragraph. I only need links if I want proof and I only need a huge post if...well I don't need a huge post. This is a gaming community forum so it seems like the target audience is young and/or just here to have fun, so long drawn out posts for "critical thinking" I think turn away more people than bring them in. I don't know anything for sure, this is just what I think, and you may just dismiss me as one of those people that buries their head in the sand but I tend to look at life in a more philosophical sense and squabbling about who gets to run my way of life indirectly doesn't interest me. I'll live how I want to a reasonable extent and if something prevents me from doing that I'll fight.
