How does it hold back the people who have binds? I don't use binds and I'm the first person out of the buyzone almost every round. I can hold W and buy its not very hard. Do you know what holds me back? The people who take 10min to buy and get me trapped in spawn.

I feel like everyone being held back 2-3 seconds at the beginning of a round isn't really much of an annoyance... Where as having one side get held back in spawn while the other side rushes is pretty annoying. I don't use binds I just have the buy menu memorized and am able to buy quickly. Not having a buy time gives people with these binds a head start on the rush over those people that do not use binds and are not so quick with the buy menu. Instead of giving the advantage to people with binds or that can simply buy guns faster, why not give the others a few seconds to buy so that everyone can leave spawn at the same time? It definitely would reduce the amount of blocking in spawn.

I've come to the conclusion that the reason n00bs refuse to consider buy time is because people (usually with p90s :P) like to have an advantage on the rush. Its just annoying when you buy quickly but are stuck in spawn because of the slow buyers. Then completely lose any advantage you may have had by rushing. IMO counterstrike already does a pretty good job at randomly giving people the advantage on a rush by randomly assigning spawn points.

I just use the quick buy binds in the lower right hand corner :)
