Re: Free to play games on steam. i play a little dc online was fun but you constantly get messages popping up to get you to subscribe to get better benefits of the game

It's slow paced. (There are days and shit.)
It's like Risk mixed with Civ. You have to build a kingdom, trade/ally/wage war with other players.
It's pretty awesome so far and you're village is constantly gathering materials and what not when you're not logged in so it's not like you've got to keep it open all the time.
It's a pretty awesome MMO in my opinion.

Also, if you try to start more than one village, it's bunk.
Already stopped playing because I didn't want to pay for it. :\

Re: Free to play games on steam. yeah the free to play concept is bullshit once you realize why it is free to play... cause steam or whoever it is that is doing in through steam is making more money with people making ingame purchases for items then they are getting the game...
