FFXIV looks F*CKING tight though. Just saw the trailer a coupe of days ago.

I'll agree with that, but I only plan on playing XI for a month or so... I'm sure I'll get XIV when it comes out next year.

You'll play for about 3 days, get frustrated at the lack of any ability to level solo past 10, get raged at the fact that you can barely communicate with the Japgroes via Squeenix's half-assed translation system, and then quit.

lol, I forgot about the damn Japs on the servers... haven't played for over a year. You still can't solo after 10?! I thought they fixed that... well, if no one that I know is on, I might take your advice and not play again.

anyway, I'm guessing you had a bad personal experience with FFXI? I remember I got up to lvl 45 or so, but then it took so damn long to find a group to level up any more than that. Dragoons weren't wanted... Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_13

I got to level 21, my group disbanded, I got attacked and killed, delevelled to 20 and said "F*CK that".

No friends to play with makes that game F*CKING unbearable.
