Expansions items are just stupid. Ladder is just bad because of the way they work it out, the system fails. Diablo II, non-expansion, non-ladder is the best, you trade, you duel, you find your own good items, you level up. After you get bored with it, you convert your character to expansion. The best character in non-expansion is the worst in expansion, the items are STUPID. Make a character in USEast non-ladder, non-expansion. Guaranteed your character will go nowhere.
