Was playing on the n00b server today, and yeah I didn't do the best. But DANG, I still was getting some of those lucky kills because of the AK's 1-hit head shot guarantee. I have to say now, the AK is indeed the best weapon in my opinion. What about you guys? Any cool stories you have that have to do with the AK, or maybe your opinion on another weapon being the best?

Just depends on how you use it, I just burst with the ak. I still don't like the mac10/ump and auto shotty though. Other guns are manageable

AK-47 for long range, m4a1 for spraying and AWP for whenever I get to use it because it's my favorite weapon. Awp/Deagle is just ridiculous.

Im an Ak man for sure.

I rarely spray, but if i do i control it. If i cant control it well, like in situations with 2+ enemies i like the fact that all i need are 2 random bullets to stay alive instead of 4 with the m4a1.

i don't call my AK Shurly.

The M3 pump shotgun is the best. You gotta know how to use it;) F*CK the other guns;)

No recoil much? Jumping 180 headshots? You don't fire the gun until you're at the zenith of your ascent?

I like AK on CT and m4 on T for some strange reason.

werd. me too. mostly cause the sound can confuse the other team for a sec sometimes.

I tend to try and not pick up the other teams weapon (unless I don't have one).

The reason why?
I ALWAYS die very shortly thereafter.. Seriously picking up the other teams gun is a virtual death sentence to me for some reason.

You don't happen to have cl_autowepswitch set to 1 do you? cl_autowepswitch 0 <--your new best friend.

I have it set to 0. I'm just cursed, I'm telling you.. Every time I pick up a AK when I am a CT or vise versa, I will die. You see, it's not the fact that auto switch pulls up the weapon. In fact it is quite the opposite, usually I die after the gun is able to be shot. I just tend to do better if I keep the gun I have. The only time I switch is when the primary/secondary clips are nearly empty, and I am being swarmed. I also try to get one that is for the team I am on. Call me crazy, but if you are a T and I pick up your gun after shooting you, I will die that round or early in the next round. It never fails.

ak is the best. hands down.

It depends on the situation, and the map for me. AKs are almost always my first pick. But other times M4s just get the job done better.
