So i just learned you can skin pretty much anything in css from guns to the computers in office and was wondering if skinning guns was frowned upon around here, example: gold ak/deagle

Guns and whatnot are ok. Skinning map textures and whatnot? not ok.

I heard the other day that there are gun skins that are also considered cheating. Use common sense on whether or not the skinning is giving you an unfair advantage or not.
That said I have 2 skins running that I really like: my dualies are these futuristic guns with really good animation & sound design, and the fiveseven is SEXAY and realistic. Of all people, lifescan introduced me to the fact that things could be skinned.

I had an all black Deagle skin for a while that was sexy as F*CK, but I didn't like the animation or sound.
I heard the other day that there are gun skins that are also considered cheating. Use common sense on whether or not the skinning is giving you an unfair advantage or not.
theres skins out there that have a laser sight thing which can give people an unfair advantage when aiming, namly aiming noscope with scouts and awps...
but there also use to be one for the deagle that shot out someones head and make funny comments everytime you shot
