georgebob - Anything you do on the internet anyone can see your IP address, it's not that big of a deal. You connect to any counter-strike server, it's displayed in console. You make a post on any website, it's displayed somewhere. You browse a website, you can get it from some log.

My advice to you, if you're really that worried about someone knowing your ip address, educate yo self:

Fomenta was nice enough to offer to change the name as well, all i did was accept that offer and ask if he could remove the names from the "player names" section on the page as well, since that would make it so that my name is not on the page at all. i really appreciate that he's helping me out here.

i know this, my only real problem is that googling my address leads to a psychostats page that has my name on it. using that name, i don't think it would be too hard for someone to figure out who i really am. that is my only issue here.

I think the only course of action that will leave everyone happy is for Fomenta to add to this gentleman's pyschostats page all the personal information he can find out about him through his forum registration / IP / etc.
