im gonna stick with my plan of Rush- then Spray and pray

I use noobanator's tactics on most maps. I average 1 kill per death (except for lately, where it's been 0.5:1), so I feel I'm pulling my weight, where the more tactical 2:1 people can finish the round off.

Rush immediately and get to the sweet spots, spray up close, 2 shot bursts to the head using the ak or m4 at long range (take off silencer for long shots and put on silencer for being quiet and for spraying). Always remember to walk as much as you run (if not more than you run), and always walk when you think there is an enemy nearby. This works for me. Then again... CS is really instinct now after playing it since 1.5 first came out like 10 years ago.

Final thoughts.

Rush up fast and hard to surprise enemies. Get a quick kill or two and fall back to a bombsite/hosties.

Play smart listen, listen to sounds. Its dumb to stand in a spot where you can get shot from numerous angles.
Find a corner and bunker down.

Also you buy nades...use them. someones behind you throw it at the ground and run. If you shoot a guy once or twice peek and chuck a nade. you'll likly finish him off.

Also in regards to bursts:

Up close 0-5 feet or so Spray like a motherfucker. But dont just spray blindly. Learn to control it. One of the best i've seen do this is Gin. With the m4 pull down on your mouse as you are spraying at a target. With the Ak47 when spraying learn to pull down and to the left in a upside down seven shape. This will increase your chance and getting kills.

Mid range When a person is @ midrange area i usually like to do burst fire. With the m4 i stick to 3 to 4 shot bursts. Ak47 i stick to 2 to 3 shots. When doing this dont run around like a retart. Just stay still and fire. Work on it. The more you work on that shit the better it will get.

Long range For long range distances stick to 1 shot! IF you feeel like Randy Johnson maybe two. STAY STILL. thats the easiest way to kill that guy. What i do is shoot then pause. Take one shot then pause for 1 second. Repeat.

Other info

Computers If you have a kickass computer you will deff. have the upper advantage. Although thats not always the case. My computer sucks more balls then Angry Kitten. I run on high Res settigns and get 30-40 fps on dust 2. On lower res i get 70-80. So computers aren't everything. They just matter alot.

Silencer IMHO there is no point for the silencer. The silencer reduces damage on the m4a1 to about 4 points. So if you think about it your average m4 headshot is 91 damage. if you add 4 damage your reaching 95 or so. You won't get a instant kill with an m4 no matter what (armourless people excluded). The silencer decreases recoil allowing higher accuracy. Take your quick two shots game over.

Pistols F*CKING USE THEM. IF your in a spray contest with a guy why fall back and reload your m4,ak,mp5,etc.
Pull out the pistol and kill him (assuming you hit him). The pistols are in the game for a reason. The deagle is obliviously a high damage pistol but if you can't aim you only get 7 shots. So i suggest work with your USP/Glock...its a starter weapon and does decent damage for the ammountt of rounds it holds. The p228(compact) Great gun if you struggle with the deagle. It does a high damage rate with 13 rounds and has very little recoil.

Relax and don't panic.
^^^^^^ That right there, work on it. That will improve your game dramatically. if you just relax and make your shots count.

This is just some stuff i've learned from scrimming and listening to better people i play with.
Some of this info may be a little inaccurate if so inform me because i'd love to learn.

I don't always follow this rule myself, but I actually suggest bouncing nades off the environment. There's a significant delay between throwing a grenade and being able to fire again. By bouncing a grenade off a wall and around the corner, you make it impossible for the enemy to shoot you while you have a live grenade in your hand.

Rushing & falling back works well if you have a hacker with a scout covering your ass.

I like Chris's style of running in with the p90 and KILLING EVERYONE.

Yah, it's all about taking advantage of the total nubness of the majority of puggers. Most of them try to go were the easy kills are and will never watch their backs. They are so focused on shooting at one spot they just know there has to be an opponent at that they won't even see all their teammates dying behind them on their radar.

When we went drinking a couple of nights ago, Chris actually showed up with a P90.

Always think about what they are going to do. By now if youve played in our server alot you can tell what people are gonna do before they are gonna do it themselves. Ask yourself who was at that place last time, where were they when you got there, Did anyone die on radar if so where. Youll be surprised how predictable many are. So if you can get there first or throw a flash way before you, youll def catch them with their pants down. For instance On D2...if your on T and you rush B, ALWAYS throw a flash into B while running forwards, quickly turn 180 as it goes off and run in. youll get 2-3 kills. IT WILL ALWAYS GET SOMEONE (note: this is based off if you spawn closer to B and can immediatly start running towards it at round start).If they rush B they will still eat the flash and F*CK their rush up.

keep practicing your reactions. If you get quick enough you can hit a guy the sec he comes around a corner in the head and have him wondering wtf happened. What everyone else said works. Practice makes perfect and theres a reason they say it.

STOP RUNNING EVERYWHERE. i know others have said it but god damn STOP. People with good headphones can hear EVERYTHING, including that nade you just picked up in long hall : P.

Of course Radar is your friend and i dont need to say anything else.Just be aware of EVERYONE.

Burst...burst...burst. Spray if you know youll get them. Sometimes it doesnt work out the way you want but ohh well try again next round. The game is very easy to get good at. Just gotta point and click ( idc what you say yes its that easy). I know this sounds dumb but if you know you have a little while like its the end of a round. Trace objects with the crosshair. It helps with controlling your aim. Instead of flailing your mouse around like an idiot you can instantly move to a point and stop on it. takes a while but youll see what I mean.
