As the title says. When I open my console I cant highlight a certain part of text. I have to highlight an entire line but can only copy a portion of it. This is really frustrating when trying to pull someones steam ID I cant highlight it I have to write it down then alt tab and copy it back over. Also when scrolling text both in pub chat and console I cant use the arrows to scroll. I have to drag the bar up and down. Works fine in console but in the pub chat when I do that it skips like 100 lines of text and gets frustrating. Anyone else have these problems or know how to fix them?

If you are trying to copy a guys steam id.
Highlight from the IP address of the player above the player's steam ID you want. and copy and paste. That is what I've been doing.

That's my "solution" to the copy and paste problem in console.

Yeah I just copy the person above and below it as well as the offenders and paste it into a steam message to someone.

Even though you don't see it highlighted, it still is. If you click a drag like you normally would, then hit Ctrl+C, it still copy's it for me even though it isn't highlighted.

my console doesn't highlight shit. HOWEVER, if i still go through the action of highlighting (even though i can't see it) and copy it still works. try this by using your mouse to highlight, then Ctrl+C to copy, try pasting in the console (obviously where you enter text). it works for me. i don't always highlight the right thing the first time, but i can still make it work.

Same it doesn't highlite for me but I can still copy it
