i would suggest playing in not pub servers, more or less 16 is the max u want to play with at a given time, people who run around an fag up a the servers with awps, and get one deags all the time are your best training, so when u go into a great server of ppl like ours, you come in to have fun and chat,[or so i am told] yeah we have some try hards, but you need to go play against all try hards and pub stars, once u can kill some of the best, when u come back to our server it wont be a gang bang on your face :D ♥ hope that helped!

Go into a deathmatch and try not to spray. That is going to be the best way to improve your aim since you have to do it so much with very little downtime or consequence for messing up. Some dm servers are more known to the competitive players and are going to be harder. Having great aim alone will take you extremely far in a pub.

Alright ill try to find a try hard server, and spyda i actually do that from time to time. then again its the hg one. and kwang im in vent whenever im on C:SS

You can try to be a try hard and do well...but from what I see you will do better by just using the p90 and spraying your way to victory...apparently that is how you do well these days when bursting people in the head only leaves blood on a helmet but does no damage.

i'm surely far from l33t status, but here is something I have found useful.

Sound awareness

I'll explain..
Have you ever noticed that certain tiles make certain noises? Like the way wood sounds, or dirt? Well if you know a map really well, by hearing the other teams footsteps you can actually tell where they are at.. For example, if you are camping behind the car at the bombsite in Dust 2 and you hear foot steps are they dirt? or are they that sound the concrete sounds like? That will tell you which entrance they are coming from... Sure, people's position change, but the things they walk on do not...Knowing which tile sounds like what will give you a general ideal on where to expect them from.

Or maybe you are in a firefight with someone, try to learn how long it takes for lets say... an M4 to run out of bullets at full auto.. or the sound of their gun reloading.. Also, learning the sounds each gun makes will help you determine what people are shooting at you.

Also, Headphones > Speakers... They are better for telling the direction of whatever you are trying to track down...
