Post Deathmatching vs playing reg?
hey! i recently was watching some youtube videos where alot of people were recomending DMing a lot to practice. I started doing this but am wondering if this is really helping my aim or am i just getting used to zooming around office looking for frags? anyone have some good input or suggestions?

It depends. If you just run around corners holding mouse1 and don't really pay attention to whatever you are doing, it's going to be a waste. If you run around and don't spray and consistently try to aim at your opponents, you can get a lot of benefit from that.

I was playing like shit.... total shit for about two weeks. Then I started playing some gungame servers to get a lot of kills in a small amount of time to get my skills back up. Trust me, it helps, and you get really familiar with every gun really fast and find out how to get kills with each of them efficiently. If you actually take your time and aim (minus submachine guns which you still have to aim but it's more of a spray to the head most of the time), you'll get 10x better within a couple of days. At least I did anyways.

It also teaches you to not to be afraid of running into a situation with confidence and killing three people.

I think it really depends. DM on office would not be as great as on dust2.

On dust, the distances are mid long half the time, so it forces you to aim at a lot of situations and be prepared to strike elsewhere. When I play DM, I play on a 24-36 max server so that it's not just prefire and nades all the time.

i just started playing dust but man is killing awpers at long range tough! im really just trying to work on the ak and m4 since they seem to be the best weapons for and mid to long range engagements. i wish i could stop on a dime and shoot also but that takes some serious practice...

ooh yeah. the awpers at dust may piss you off, but once you can beat an awper with ak or m4 at long range, you know you got enough prctice for a regular games,

Wanna get good at css? Practice bursting against normal level bots in a 5v1 on your own server. Gradually get up to expert level bots. Practice stop strafing, bursting, tapping, and eventually learn to control your spray. To practice bursting and stop strafing, etc. go into your own server (or an empty server) spray the bullseye spray, and start aiming for the middle of the target. Pretty much what I did to get good at css.

Personally, I find deathmatch to be a good way to get a bit better at spray and pray, but it all depends on the weapon you are using.

to build acuracy, I usually load up a server on private, and get like 50 bots on the enemy team on hard. Nothing makes you perfect like stress!

Is that why I constantly rape both of you and many others?

Does anybody have any DM servers maybe I could try out or maybe gungame? I have to keep being better than Hito or else I'll lose my luster

I don't have internet yet so I'm still doing 1v5 on Expert. I win some of the time depending on how well I play but my kdr is getting pretty good. At first I was awp-only because having that thing by my side is like being in a Chinese tank on Tiananmen Square in the 80's, but now I've since moved to using usp/m4a1 and actually learning how to use the goddamn things. Thanks to having a life now, I play maybe a half hour or an hour before I decide to do something else.

Deathmatch is great, but try this too because you'll have a better barometer for your performance improvements, being that once you're able to 5k consistently, you've got the basics down. Obviously start with having them on 'Normal' before you try doing 'Expert', and fair warning, on Expert, the bots aim for sound, they don't even need to see you, which is sort-of like playing vs Reborn.
