 Forum Problem (for Gman)Hey Gman when that thing with the forums happened yesterday, what did you do to have to fix it without reinstalling the directory for the forums, or did you re-install and had the files backed up. It happened to my forums as well.
www.clan-xtc.net look at that and see if you can help me, cuz i stupidly didnt backup any files and dont really wanna lose the posts. |

That was hardware failure and the server host fixed it. Look at your mySQL database. If your phpbb database still exists, edit your config.php file and put your database name/username/password in it, then try to load your forums (delete the /install & /contrib directories first).

Im still having these problems my host told me that they will "get around to it asap",(Clanservers blows) but we moved our server to source and now im hosting the forums from somewhere else, although i do not get 100% control of configs over the forum, they're there and thats all that matters. Thnx for tryin to help, if i would've read this sooner I probably could've fixed it.
