Its a console game as far as I can tell, and an MMO on console I think would be limiting with gear and whatnot...

I pre-ordered the PS4 Desitny bundle just to get the white console and an extra 40% off on my trade-ins. I wasn't going to play Destiny because of the time consumption, but the idea sounds great. If they had cross-platform play, I might have gotten it for the PS3 and played with my gf, but as of right now, I might just sell it. Still considering playing it for a bit though.

played the shit out of the beta, it was really fun. cant wait to play the story and explore with friends :D mp is very similar to halo so thats a plus

disappointed about no PC support.

Think I'll play it after all, just because I like the concept. Unfortunately, won't be able to play as often as I'd like for an MMO. Picking up a TitanOne for keyboard/mouse play ;)

I know this is a little late, but they're making a PC port for it but it won't be until like March of next year. They received a lot of complaints and shit that it was only for the consoles that they decided like halfway through to make a PC port of the game but it won't come out till later. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014- ... of-destiny Bungie explaining it in this little article.

Yea, I'm pretty sure it should be out in March of 2015, for PC. I've heard a lot of people who've played the beta say that it's basically a mix of Halo and Borderlands. I don't know about you but that sounds F*CKING awesome to me because I loved both of those games. I'm actually excited and hope they go through with the PC port for it and can't wait for it!

I bought the game yesterday, but 3 years ago when I bought my xbox 360 Slim, after my original one broke, and I bought the 4Gb version. Long story short, newer games like destiny require an actual hard drive be in the machine. Flash Drives and the internal 4Gb memory dont count.

Played the first mission last night and then it took me a while, but got keyboard/mouse working. Need to adjust the mouse settings big time though or it's not too playable that way. Will be interesting to see how the mouse works with the auto-aim cause I don't think I can turn that off.

Liking it so far,reminds me alot of Phantasy star online for the Dreamcast. Gets repetitive,but the Boss battles are good and the "events" against the huge bosses are great. Haven't unlocked the pvp mp yet,hope to do that tonight.

PVP unlocks when you get to Level 5.

Its a good time, but pretty tough when your at a lower level. As far as I can tell they dont put you in matches based on your rank, so when you get matched with a bunch of higher level people that have better attacks than you it kinda sucks

Yep,i played mp minutes after i made that post and it was just as you said. Played a couple matches but was out gunned. Wasn't the to bad i got second on my team both times but still didn't get the feeling i was as heavily armed as the other team. I have the rocket launcher but never could get the ammo before i died. Its not Halo 4 for sure,and i was kinda hoping it was. I'm gonna keep grinding but its getting repetitive as hell. And the no pause shit is having a positive effect on my alcoholism which i don't like. No time to grab a fresh beer.
