Re: Oculus Rift
Looks cool but it's probably going to be pretty expensive.

Re: Oculus Rift
Actually, it's reasonably priced.
So far the supported game list for this is pretty large. TF2 is definitely supported. (Even with that silly multi-directional treadmill!) Along with Minecraft and other big ones. It'll run you about 300 bucks currently.

Re: Oculus Rift
I've been following this thing for some time.
Nasa even created an explorable Mars with the Rift.

Re: Oculus Rift
Just got confirmation that mine is being shipped. I downloaded the 22 gig demo rift file for games, and purchased VorpX, a racing wheel, and a joystick. I'm going to probably need some Airborne or Dramamine to go with it as well. I'm interested to see how it look for WoW, but mostly looking forward to the new games that are in development for it.

Re: Oculus Rift
I think I will get one when there are more games development for it or when they switch it to a wireless unit.

Thought you guys might find this interesting, valve is working on their own VR setup, but also maintaining a "friendly and collaborative" relationship with the guy behind Oculus Rift: http://www.theverge.com/2013/11/19/5121 ... am-support
