Post Alloy Rims?
Ok, planning on putting on some new Rims (or Wheels) and was wondering if anyone had any advice? I'm going either 18" or 20" for my 300 and I'm going all black. I am basically blacking out the car. One question I have is do you have to take the rims off in the winter? I hear you can keep them on as long as you clean them regularly.

This is the new Grill I just ordered today.

If they are alloy rims....yea you can keep them on the only issue is the amount of rubber that's on the rims. When you switch out rims most of the time the tire size goes down because of the larger rim. A lot of people change out rims when the snow gets really bad for the added traction. But if you wanted to....yea you can keep them on year round.

No chrome, all black rims! I'm also getting new LED smoked out headlights and taillights so the car will be all black with the exception of a chrome trim piece down each side of the car. I live really close to work so in the winter I only drive 7 kms round trip. I have averaged only 7500 kms a year since owning the car. Once I get everything done I will put up photo's of before and after.

Was it easy to install your lights? With the 300 you have to take the whole plastic front end off just to get tot he light housing. I don't have the tools for such a job and it's 15 screws from top to bottom and the wheel wells to get the front piece off. You need to hoist the front end up to get the 8 screws on the bottom so I am getting my mechanic to install the grill and lights but the tail lights I can do myself.

Yea i had to take off the bumper and grill. Well i didn't take the bottom screws off. Just took the ones out of the wheel well and under the hood then let it fall forward and put a box under the bumper to prevent it from going all the way forward. Pretty easy install.
