Post Giving away free copies of my album.
I decided that I'm going to give away copies of Nerd Language to everyone who participates in this. All you have to do is three things. Even if you've already bought a copy of Nerd Language, you can still participate and grab another one!

1. Listen to my entire album from anywhere like:

http://firstsun.bandcamp.com
http://www.rdio.com/artist/First_Sun/
https://play.spotify.com/album/4n1PMTcjfK8gaC8p1GgeCP

2. Come back to this thread, and post your favorite song from the album.

3. Visit ANY website (except ones who have illegally pirated my music and uploaded it) that allows reviews and give a nice review and rating.

Places like Amazon, iTunes, and other distributors allow people to review music. Having your help means a lot to me, and you wouldn't believe how much it helps just giving someone a five-star rating and a good word.

When you're done, you can simply post your favorite song along with the site you left your review. If you have a name different than your username just make sure I know what it is so I can verify. I'll PM you a link and a code through the forum where you can download the album in any format you like. The code will be good for a while.

Free shit for a back-scratch. Too easy.

Awesome man, thanks for this! I'll probably do this later today, is there a site that would be better to leave the review on? I'll probably do amazon if not.

Nope, any one of them will do, though Amazon and iTunes are the most-frequently used.

I have looked at Luke's review on Amazon. It's a pretty basic review, but what can you expect? Luke is a pretty basic guy. And by basic, I mean he didn't pass the third grade.

That's beside the point. I'll put in a review shortly, though I'll be purchasing the album too. It's unavailable on Amazon right now, out of stock. So I'll do the Bandcamp one.

[edit:] just bought a physical copy.

What is the difference in the explicit version? Also, what genre is this classified as. The reason I like to know is because if it's like trance, I won't like it. I actually tried to listen to the first song on Spotify, but it sounded like trance and I shut it off. Someone recommended Supernova, so I might try and give that one a listen later. Also, I noticed someone seeding it on one of the torrent sites, but it didn't have any downloads. Honestly, I wouldn't even download it for free if I thought I wouldn't listen to it.

There isn't any trance in the music. It's all house, dubstep, electro, experimental and glitch. The main theme of the album is EDM. The first track is actually electro-funk. I'm not sure what you're really into as far as music is concerned so I can't make the decision for you.

The album is now available through Spotify, YouTube and Soundcloud, all free mediums. I'd just suggest giving it a good listen-through and make your own opinion about it. So far I haven't heard anything bad about the album other than some people saying it was "too generic" for them. I think that's a good thing for me, because the other music I make is too niche for just about anyone, so it's good to be on the other side of the fence for once.

I will get around doing it tomorrow after work, I got a friend that would be interested in the song and she's a music producer as well.

As soon as I can hop on my laptop ill give you a review your album deserves from a true EDM junkie. Loving somewhere in a city. Could definitely use it in a house mix ive been thinking of doing.
