Better watch what you say it could land you in jail?!?

What a bunch of bullshit and totally against first amendment rights but we all know they mean less and less each day.

Thinking about starting a pool to see how long it takes Kano or Hobo to get arrested for saying something stupid.

Kinda looked like luff... bahaha.

But seriously, those in authority around the world still don't know how to distinguish sarcasm or humor from being serious. I'm not surprised. Paranoid government is paranoid.

Not the first case of a LoL player getting arrested.

On the other hand theres some topics that you don't joke about. The safety of children at school is one of then especially after a national tragedy involving school kids. I would rather the government errors on the side of caution in a case like this one.

F*CKING paranoid pu$$y bullshit.

It's that kind of garbage attitude that's the reason the country is going down the toilet.

Yeah, I agree. Erring on the side of caution is fine, but violating a person's civil rights to do so? Imprisoning a guy for making a joke? F*CK that. The line should be drawn WAY before that.

Indeed.

It boils down to the classic "liberty versus security" debate.

In America, we should always be erring on the side of liberty, not this police state shit we have now.

I totally agree with Gman. It's been months since they determined that it was just a joke (albeit in poor taste) but they still have this guy in prison... this guys rights have clearly been violated.

I believe he actually said it on facebook, at least that is what i heard when the story broke, but most everywhere else says he said it on LoL, either way he should not be in this situation. What happened to freedom of speech?

Beyond that, I hear the guy is getting beat up and abused in jail on the regular, what a crock of shit.

Its total bullshit the guy shouldn't be there.. We as Americans should be able to say what we want where we want and whenever we want.... Its that simple. Now should have the authorities looked into it absolutely. Should this kid still be in jail absolutely not and its a travesty he should be released immediately. If any politician disagrees with this then they better arrest a good amount of Hollywood directors, writers and actors right F*CKING quick because not one of you can say you haven't seen a movie or tv show where kids have been raped, beat or murdered before.

If it is the story I am thinking of, lady that called was Canadian.

That part pisses me off almost as much as the bullshit.

My personal opinion would be that any time you are taking away rights, limiting freedoms, or invading privacy you are probably making a stupid decision for the world.
