well i live up in the mountains in Colorado, and my business is to take out trash. i know not the best job in the world, but i do make about $500 a month so not to bad. I have about 47 customers. and i do this once a week every Friday. i start at about 8:00 in the morning and end at about 2:00

Taking out peoples trash isn't a bad business. My dad hired a guy to do that, because his heart just can't handle that type of shit anymore. It's a good service to the community man. Not only that, but the man my dad hired started out by taking out trash, and over time people started asking him to do other tasks(Landscaping, Cleaning gutters etc.) Now the guy has 10-15 employees and his business is doing quite well. If you do things right, you have a good thing going for you. Just try to make sure you've got year round tasks you're capable off doing.

EDIT: Just thought about this as well. This job only requires 24 hours a month to make an extra $500. Over $20 an hour, not even a full days work, helping the community. Pretty legit if you ask me.

You know, growing up I was asked "What do you want to be?" I said a trash man, because you know getting to ride on the back of the truck seemed cool, when told I needed to aim higher I said "A hobo?"....
NOT SAYING A HOBO IS HIGHER IN LIFE THAN A TRASH MAN, Just thought it was kinda funny.. Shit, I'd be a trash man if you didn't have to pass a drug test here..

As long as you do something constructive with your time you are the bees knees to me.

In general, garbage and trash collectors do more for your every-day health than medical professionals. They're the unsung heroes of the service industry.
