Post BF3 IRL
Badass footage of RL combat with the syrian tank forces VS rebels. They blew that country back to the stone age.

Post Re: BF3 IRL
Theres some other videos ive seen that just as cool if not cooler imo. The funny thing is theres alot of blown up BMPs and Tanks out there because the syrian infantry doesnt back up the tanks AT ALL. So many rpgs and western made anti tank rockets flooding into the country. You could literally see the war start swinging into the rebels favor when they started shipping in. Tanks were dropping left and right. If I can find it ill look for the video of the 80+ rebel assault on a hill fortress and post it. Its so freaky to watch. Like ants scurrying up a hill.

My opinion? The rebels will win this. Its getting way out of hand and russia doesnt seem to want anything to do with it anymore. The rebels are being trained in Turkey by US special forces and are learning alot of tactics thats F*CKING the army up. Also the army is making a ton of strategic blunders thats F*CKING them in the ass. This a much more interesting civil war than Libya. TANKS ARE NOT MADE FOR URBAN COMBAT......theres tons of videos of tanks eating Kornet missle systems in the ass. Its only going to get worse imo. Only thing really keeping the syrian army afloat is the airforce and the rebels have been steadily using MANPADS and other shoulder launched anti-air missles to counter it.

Not much of a downgrade from where it used to be.

everyone thinks war is cool....until they actually GO to war....then its another story.....video games are fine as long as you realize its just a game, as a former US soldier I do not glorify watching real people get blown up, war is hell and is always used as a political tool to decrease population and for governments to make a pile of money. but hey don't take my word for it I hear the army is getting desperate for troops...... more suicides than lost in combat.

Really? I thought it was about hug bombs and love guns.

In this case its actually not being used as a political tool since the people are pretty F*CKING pissed at the fact that they have no money whatsoever and assad screwed them. Thats not to say people arent trying to profit from it in some way ( Al qaeda in iraq, iran, isreal in a way, russia with their arms deals with the syrian gov, china with its economic contracts). Im not saying war is cool. Its hell. In fact if the US public hates seeing military losses in afghanistan they should be happy this isnt the second world war where 100,000 would be wiped out in a few weeks. I think syria is interesting. Interesting because you have a front row seat to a full blown revolution in HD. We live in an age where that is possible. This revolution at the end of it could send ripples through history that could turn into tidal waves beyond our comprehension.

relax man I wasn't trolling anyone, just letting you know that this is not some fun spectacle...and don't worry there is more to come after we invade and have to spend your taxes to rebuild Syria.....I just find it interesting that so many people find this stuff interesting but always do so sitting at home away from danger instead of actually going over there and finding out the truth....im not saying you have to be in the military to make your own opinions, im just saying that whats going on over there is not a joke and we are only getting maybe 5-10 percent of what is really going on over there....speaking from actual military experience

I know youre not trolling. I dont think well be invading syria....theres too much at stake with Iran,Russia, and China backing them. I know its not a joke, I wanted to be an airborne ranger before blowing my knees out in high school. I was denied by the army, marines, and navy.

You know they make kneepads right? They'll protect your knees while you blow.

gman too funny....
reilly that's horrible man, I dunno what I would have done if my dream was crushed by an injury
mad props to all the other warriors who had the balls to serve......its a tough choice to make, I remember going to meps with a few buddys and they all decided to give up even after medically qualifying... its not for everyone but I respect anyone who actually wants to give back to the country , its a very dangerous career and losing friends which I did lose some, hits you hard and makes you look at things like this differently. good luck moving forward with whatever it is you do man, im not high and mighty on my service just pissed when I see people asking government for help but didn't do anything for them during this "war"
