I'm interested to see how they're going to play off the whole "younger generation" (the X-Men First Class cast) and then the "older generation" (Storm/Wolverine/etc)....a bunch of flashbacks or something?? I think it'll be interesting.

I really wanna see how they try to pull this off. I mean I'm happy they are bringing back some of the older characters and all but I feel the 3rd movie jumped the shark and they should have just taken the first class characters and ran with them. (Tho I could do away with that screaming guy. Yeah, I know x-men, don't know who the F*CK that guy is.

So far I dig the x-men movie and would like to see the next installment of them. I used to loooooove the X-men cartoon in the 90s Id make sure my ass was up and watching em every saturday.

You know, call me dumb, or a lack of jaded, but I've loved pretty much every X-men movie, I'm not an avid x-men comic reader, loved the hell out of the cartoons though, so I'm gonna go ahead an expect nothing and be amazed and over joyed when it comes out :)
My only problems have been A) The girl who played rogue... Ugh, what an annoying face. and B) Cyclops be actin like a b.

I have to say ive been dissapointed by every single one of them, each one more so than the last.....yeah this series needs a hard reboot and a memory wipe. Also I AM A HOMOSEXUAL on the cartoon loved it.(i actually have the entire series on my external lol)

when I was a kid I read the comics and to me the 90s cartoon was like watching the comics unfold, me and my friends used to all wake up early and watch it ever Saturday, it was our favorite show, everyone had a Cyclops and wolverine toys, I was sad when that show ended, there hasn't been a decent cartoon of x-men ever since, I hope they stop the current movie series and just reboot the whole thing and make it more like the comics instead of doing their own story, cuz lets face it they fucked the story up so bad its nothing like the comics, and where the F*CK has apocalypse been? he would make magneto look like a pu$$y

well yeah they made cyclopes look like a cry baby little bitch and made Wolverine look like the hero the whole time... I mean it might as well been the wolverine show... I mean you got to think about it... you can't really kill the guy unless you nuke him or can bend metal... They kill Cyclopes after making him a bitter asshole. They make Wolverine seem like the most important person on the planet... and they kill professor X... like Really?

you are so right, I cant watch the new shows because they are all about wolverine being the main guy, and he is not even the leader of the x-men, im not sure what happened over the years but for some reason wolverine somehow became the main guy when he was always a mysterious member of the x-men
and the only way to kill him is if magneto ripps his adamantium out of him and then someone cuts his head off....otherwise he can survive basically anything

Im sorry man im just to tired of them ignoring characters or drastically changing them AND their story line. at least the first one wasnt horrid, 2 WAS awesome when i saw the phoenix in the water. im like WHOLY SHIT THEY ARE GOING TO DO DARK PHOENIX SAGA!!!! like i forgave everything wrong with #2 and #1 just off of that...then 3 came out......yeah F*CK XMEN. you really thing that if they do days of future past its actually going to be any good???? after what they did to the best saga in xmen? Shit im waiting for the next movie to find out that wolverine and sabertooth actually used to be gay lovers but wolverine pulled his hair to much and sabertooth wouldnt swallow so thats why they are ACTUALLY pissed at each other...

Oh and to clarify on the missing characters/powers obviously beast not being an actual X-men is retarded, no gambit, no jubilee. people allied with the wrong people: obviously apoc is not to be heard of or seen and all the mutants that worked for him are either "independent" or working for either x-men or magneto. Now on the whole powers thing, some of this i can at least argue to myself logically why say on rouge how she has NONE of her powers and i mean NONE, but hey if she is just starting out its at least passable....even if i remember correctly she first fully drained a mutant before joining the xmen i can at least see it. but removing the most obvious manifestations of magnetos power not only makes no sense, but is an absolute slap in the face to ANY fan of the series. it would be like superman not being able to fly. and thats just what they did they removed his ability to block ANYTHING shot at him as well as the defing characteristic of him: that he flew everywhere. he did not walk, walking was for lesser creatures, the very fact that he REFUSED to walk like a human showed just how deeply he believed that the mutants were the greater race, destend to inherit the earth from us puny mortals.

yeah i can never remember who she meets and in what order to gain her powers. but i kind of stipulated that, i can at least see it as her before she got her abilities. the rest of the missmatched powers/etc is just grrrr. i also frankly missed the "tell tale" on mistique(her belt doesnt change). but frankly these two are the most minor adjustments made to characters as far as im concerned, even if one of them is that they made rouge more helpless than a newborn lamb.

So they had gambit in X-men first class and banshee and havoc (kevin bacon, unless im totally mistaken, but his powers he had was JUST like havcos...) which was totally stupid havoc was Scotts brother. I was really disappointed in most of the xmen i did like first class though because it was the original men...and showing how they became who they are and they showed at the end scott jean iceman storm all the commonly known ones.

I also really liked Wolverine: Origins, and I think that they should include Gambit in the new movie if they could because he was pretty awesome in Origins.
