 Gaming Headsets
why is it so hard to find good headsets?! between my brother and i we have already owned around 5 headsets. can anyone recommend something that wont break in 2 months? sound quality doesnt need to be that good, just want something sturdy.

 Re: Gaming Headsets
I recommend what dazed said. I currently use these http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Siber ... B002Q8IHDQPeople say they are flimsy, but they are amazingly comfortable and i haven't broke them yet. But i am very careful with them i must say.

 Re: Gaming Headsets
I toss my siberia around all the time like its a cheap $2 piece of shit, hasn't broken yet, the mic can be detached from its holder and go back in, as I found out while stepping on it a dozen times lol... Ive got some wire fray somehow but that's the only thing wrong with them so far and Ive had them like 8 months or so.

 Re: Gaming Headsets
Same here. I love them. Only had them for about 4 months, but they work great. Not sure about how durable they are. I'm really careful with headphones.

I've got the Creative Fatality headset. I throw those mother F*CKERS around everywhere. On the desk, on the floor, pull them up by the cord, etc. They still work like the first day I got them. Two years ago now, I think. :)

I love my Logitech G35's! I've had them a year now and they still look brand new and I use them a lot.

 Re: Gaming Headsets
I use these plantronics... http://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-995-W ... ss+headsetThe range on the wireless is ridiculous. Our house is huge (2 kitches, 3 living rooms, etc etc) and I can walk around the entire house, including outside, and almost never go out of range. Had them for about a year and have never had any problems.

 Re: Gaming Headsets
OR, you could get a very nice pair of headphones and a cheap mic from walmart. There you go, you just got yourself a much better alternate to a headset.

 Re: Gaming Headsets
Not sure if you already bought a headset or not. But I found some, not sure if they are great deals or not. http://bensoutlet.com/products/steelseries-5xbThese two are intended for Xbox 360 and PS3, but I'm not sure if you can also use them for PC. http://bensoutlet.com/products/turtle-b ... orce-xp400http://bensoutlet.com/products/ear-forc ... ogrammable

 Re: Gaming Headsets
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6826153043I have had these for 2 years now no problems. Also no matter what you decide to get, try to get them from a local store and get warranty. I havent paid for a mouse for about 6 years now because i originally bought one from best buy with warranty and keep taking it back and exchanging it for a new one with a new warranty.

Most durable things ive ever seen and on top of that they are velvety making them so comfy
