Now, for the past two years, our members have been attending Fulda Gap. For those of you who don't know what it is, check this out:

Basically, it's a paintball game on a massive scale in North Carolina. Last year had a pretty bunk turnout. Myself included did not attend. However, this year will be different.

I am proposing this event again, however, others will not be ruled out. If there is another event, or meet up n00bfest members can attend thats not in an extreme corner of the country, please recommend it! Reply with ideas, opinions and (_)_)!

2013 will be my 4th Fulda Gap. I'm stoked already. Lets really make an effort to recruit moar people from n00bfest. Also, we need to reach out to other teams in the area. Teams are what make or break this game. Also, JERSEYS. Get some.

I was able to get me and Pit_stop there (car pooled) with enough money for food and goodies at the event for around 1700 I believe it was.That was to be comfortable with spending. We splurged on the last day because stuff went on sale. :D

That specific scenario was 4 people car-pooling and pitching in for gas. (I believe it was a 21 hour drive from Central Texas.)

Alright, so with plane tickets it would run me around $2000..... might be possible. I'll have to see what happens when the marching band schedule comes out.

Can we get this stickied so I can keep up with the info?

NC is kinda a ways out there. If theres something in the mid south then I'd be in...:/

We would like to get a D-DAY event planned, but that happens in June I believe, would've needed to start planning last year for that. So perhaps thats something we can try to plan for Next year.

Theres nothing like a 21 hour car ridge to NC in which jokes about jacking off are said all the way there. Oh wait, except the 27 hour ride back becuase a truck blew up on the interstate lol. I can't say what Ill be into by then, Im possibly going back to finish my degree off so if that happens Id be a no.

I was surprised because we made it back in like 18 hours even with being stuck on a bridge for a few.

Excellent! Remember guys: registration is gonna end in late October, it'll start sometime in Summer. Be sure to register! I can swear to you guys this will be one of the best weekend of your lives if you go. The more n00bfest people the better. Is anyone else wanting to go? I promise that we can all collectively lower the costs of you all going if we band together.

I'm going to make tentative plans to be there. It'll be a family vacation for us. That woman I'm married to will make us some food on demand. We'll have a bitch on site. Hot food and shit when we get back to the campground. More to come as it gets closer.
