Post Silver Falls State Park(Comparison)
So yesterday me and my woman drove about an hour from our place to spend the day hiking through Silver Falls State Park in Oregon. We go there once or twice a year because the scenery changes so dramatically with each season. So I figured I would post some pictures from 2 different trips(Yesterdays and last year.) Just a way to see how much it changes in such a short period of time. The summer photos are from one of the hottest summers we've had in a while, and this winter it hasn't stopped raining for about a month. So i'll post a photo from pretty much the same angles of each waterfall(Some of the winter shots you cant duplicate in the summer because of trees being in the way.) Just so you know, these waterfalls aren't small. The smallest is 65ft(ok, I guess one or 2 are small.) The rest are In between 160ft - 200ft.

You'll notice in this photo, that during the winter the snow and river knocked down the trees from the summer photo, directly into the waterfall.

Here's a different angle of the above falls. In the winter the path that walks you behind any of the falls are closed. Which blocks you from getting to the best view.

Hope you liked them.

Cani, we are so lucky to live in a state with amazing scenery. I just got back from Texas and well.... yea. No offense to you Texans but there's not a lot to look at.

You're welcome everyone. My pleasure. I know what you mean Savage. We don't really need to go to a state park to see great scenery, because its around every corner. I love living here. Every new year I go to the beach to watch the strong waves and stuff. Maybe I'll have more photos tonight. We'll see how the trip goes.

Take the time to go to a big one. They're beautiful, and they sound cool too. The tall ones sound like a commercial airliner taking off.
