 Need a new headset?
Well you're in luck. I think it's a good deal. $100 on amazon. http://1saleaday.com/main/

 Re: Need a new headset?
I do need a headset actually. Mine always wear out, I've gone through about 6 or 7. The headphones always stay working fine, but for some reason, the microphones always just wear out for some reason, I don't get it.
Anyone ever experience this?
Should I get these since $50 for $100 headset is a good deal?

 Re: Need a new headset?
Ya, I bought a pair of these because they have to be better than my pair of Razer Carchariwhateverthefuck's. It's only $50.
I've heard a few peoples mics go out. But I guess it's better than the headphones going out, right?

 Re: Need a new headset?
Thanks for the tip Caniboid! I checked out with only 5 minutes left on the deal!
There were some bad reviews, but the vast majority of the reviews on newegg and amazon we're pretty good. These are also supposed to be designed in collaboration with pro gamers, so they should be pretty good, considering they are literally what the pros use.
So, for $55 shipped, very good deal, and I even got the green ones! lol
I just hope the bad reviews about the mic sucking aren't totally true.
I've had so many headsets it's ridiculous and EVERY MOTHER F*CKING TIME the microphone goes out. Nothing ever actually breaks, but the mics just stop working, out of the blue, for no reason. I already said this, but does anyone else have this problem with their headsets?
It just seems like bullshit, like they are pre-programmed to break after a certain amount of time. Basically, you have buy a new headset ever 1-2 years and if they actually last 2 years, consider yourself lucky. I need a good pair for hearing footsteps, but I refuse to pay more than $50 for something that I know isn't going to last as long as it should. I would have never paid the full $100 for these.

Sadly, the best I've ever had, are the Razer Carcharious(probably spelled wrong) i currently use. No complaints really. They still work like brand new after almost 2 years, and as far as I know, the mic still works. But when I saw the steel series for $50 and couldn't find it for less than $100 anywhere else, I figured why not. But it's good to hear that I may not have made a bad decision. Lol

nope, never had my microphone go out. I've had my headphones for about 4 years and everything still works and sounds good.

 Re: Need a new headset?
Microphones went out first pretty quickly on those $20 Plantronics headsets and my other ones either had wires eaten off or some earpad or what not broke off. Last headset had its left earpad+mic dangling by the connection wire ~ no amount of duct tape helped.

 Re: Need a new headset?
If anyone is wondering, the deal was for "SteelSeries Siberia Navi V2." I got green ones, but they come in lots of colors.
Since they are $100-150 headsets, they better be F*CKING good and last.
You can find them on Amazon for about $86, but different colors go for different prices. Also, apparently you can get them from some Asian on ebay for only $40 shipped, but in limited colors. Plus, it's not in the retail packaging, so who knows what you're really getting.

 Re: Need a new headset?
I had SteelSeries Siberia's and after a year or so they snapped where the little screws by the headphones are. That area is really thin so I wasn't surprised when it happened. I'm also pretty careful with all my headsets so all I have to say is be extremely careful and don't just throw them down all the time when you are done with them.

 Re: Need a new headset?
I was planning to get the Red one off an ebay seller that is actually in the US for about $75. If I actually get off my ass and get in shape that money might go elsewhere though -_- which it might since I do have to share my computer. If they can't pick up dog shit in the backyard then they probably can't handle "nice things".
