Both. And Falcon - The books follow the show to a T. So you don't need to read them.

Reverse that. The show follows the books. :)

I thought they stated that season 2 and season 3 would be the full book 2. So if you were to read the full book 2 you'd ruin season 3 for yourself.

I got the books as a gift but I don't know if I should read them since I've already seen the show. If it follows the show to a T, it'd be pointless to dead them, wouldn't it? Quite the dilemma :?

In all honesty, the shows cuts out and switches around the order of A LOT of what actually happened in the books. If you read the books, things are more linear and characters are more understandable.

i started and loved this series when i was 15 back in 96, so F*CK YOU kitten. Read the books, inner monologue creates a depth that the show fails to do. Show also combines a ton of the characters and cuts out most of the history.

Show is good, but the books are better. They changed a lot of shit in the second season. :/

I'm not going to watch the show for this specific reason. I can't stand when shit gets edited out. There's not much in these books that isn't some form of foreshadowing, even the few pages describing scenery usually have some meaning later on.

I don't care what any of you says. EDITED is the best character in the series, and the one person who shouldn't have been killed off. It's such a waste of a character with so much potential.

Now all my hopes are on the black dragon.
