Re: A Song of Ice and Fire (A.k.a: Game of Thrones) In all honesty, the shows cuts out and switches around the order of A LOT of what actually happened in the books. If you read the books, things are more linear and characters are more understandable.

Re: A Song of Ice and Fire (A.k.a: Game of Thrones) i started and loved this series when i was 15 back in 96, so F*CK YOU kitten. Read the books, inner monologue creates a depth that the show fails to do. Show also combines a ton of the characters and cuts out most of the history.

There's not much in these books that isn't some form of foreshadowing, even the few pages describing scenery usually have some meaning later on. _________________
