So here we go again for New Orleans! On the anniversary of Katrina. Hopefully it just stays a stupid tropical storm. But fortunately it is not at the same magnitude as Katrina.
But still we have to go through precautions! Which in turn suck. 48-72 hours of standing watch or atleast till the storm passes and No one gets hurt so If I don't see you guys for a while I am trying to rescue stupid people's lives. :)

Be safe out there! Now, I wasn't there for Katrina, but I did go through Ivan in Pensacola, a month after I reported there to be an Avionics instructor. I hope all you guys affected by this stay safe!

Maybe those dumb asses will steal cars and leave this time instead of Air jordans and TV's.

Shit was stupid man, it was sunny out that whole day then it rained a little.

This storm was a disappointment for me in Miami... Only trees blown over and a bunch of rain. I want to really fear for my life dammit!

I keep reading High's posts. But in reality. All I'm doing it staring at his avatar and wondering. "What the actual F*CK is going on there."

And it's basically "over" down there, yet Nicholls State cancelled it's trip to play Oregon State. I'm being selfish. *grumble*

Well I have been working since tuesday when the storm began and just today I was able to return back to my house. To nothing damaged, nothing stolen thank god. And I have power now :). Been stuck working non stop saving people and such. And we still are. This storm was different from Katrina. It stayed here too long and flooded alot of the houses in the surrounding area of New Orleans. Slidell got hit which was never predicted. It flooded like crazy, so flying around and seeing all the damage is pretty crazy. But I was one of the lucky ones. Hopefully some of you will help out and support some of the surrounding areas with food and such because not everything has gotten back to normal. Gas is hard to find and alot of places are still closed.

But for right now I am doing a lot better and not being stir crazy waiting for a phone call to go save somebody. This is my only off day for the next week. WOOT so i will be spending it drinking and playing video games since there isn't much else to be doing in this sleeping city.
