Seeing how most, if not everyone who was involved in this scandal is gone there is no reason not to go to Penn State.
There have been plenty of scandals in collegiate sports, but this is the worst and most public.

I dont think they should lose their football forever but I think everyone idividual involved with the program should be let go and they cant have a football team for 5 years. Then after that is up they should have to restart from scratch with new coaches, scouts, etc...

Yeah, by removing the football program you are basically punishing every single football player (Walk-on and recruited).
The recruits will transfer if they have potential and They already have started from scratch essentially.

i agree the football team shoudn't loose their records or stats, but penn state should be demolished, everytime those 45 kidsa hear penn state on the news they are gonna have flashbacks of some nasty old man porking them in the butt.

Everyone knew about it and the public knew that from day one..

Wipeout the teams administraition but not the program. There is no need to punish the innocent students over the school's screwup. The entire football program needs an overhaul and anyone in the school's hierarchy that was associated with it. Joe's legacy should also be wiped, it's not right he let those kids suffer while he turned a blind eye to protect his reputation.

Seriously what is wrong with this school? They fire there womans basketball coach for openly discriminating against gays and then this. Who the F*CK is responsible at this school for venting there employee's before hiring? They should fire whoever hired both coaches cause they suck!

Probably more can be found out about me. I'm the only person in the entire country with my exact name, and if you google my full name I'm the first person on the page, and the same goes for Facebook.

I understand the thoughts of the students, but your not just going to penn state to watch football and the players can transfer to play somewhere else. I am not saying to kill it forever but for the next few years they should not have football. This will give time to sort out all the wrong doings with this case and put some distance between the school and what happened. Obviously there is no way to make people forget but this bullshit atrocity should never have happened in the first place. The NCAA has given way to many slaps on the wrist for this stuff and it is no longer a small offense. This was criminal from the top down and they need to be made an example of.
