So Saturday morning around 1 am this thing called a "Derecho" came through a couple of states and New Jersey. Apparently there were winds that got up to 91 mph, that would explain all the snapped power lines and trees uprooted. A tree limb the size of a tree fell down and just missed my house (I don't know if that makes sense but whatever). So basically I've been without power for 3 days, I just got power yesterday around 6 pm. Anyone else that got hit by this thing I hope your alright.

Yeah several places lost power in the suburbs around Chicago. Once you get into the city all the buildings act as wind breakers and storms aren't as bad. 3 days is way to long though they always get power back up between 24-48 hrs max around here.
