If you want to give me a more credible source than some paranoid tinfoil hats, then I'll believe you. You need to take the 'don't believe everything you read on the internet' to heart. Not to be offensive, but you need to use your common sense here. The government has much better methods for tracking down terrorists than monitoring how much food you buy. Why would they waste resources on something so ambiguous as food bought? The logic there is flawed. It's too inefficient compared to what they can do already.

As a reality check, you should go to a foreign country like Germany or China. If you think it's bad here, you'd probably lose your shit over there.
