 Pro Deals
http://www.promotive.com Is a professional Promotional website that gives people in their specific fields access to thousands of major brands. They get top quality products such as REI, Patagonia, The North Face, etc for up to 75% off. Mind you, you need to be a part of a group and request membership from whatever company/program you are involved in. This is gold for law enforcement, tennis pro's, and the professional cook in your life all at once. Although its not an entire list of their inventories, it does cover a large amount of their most frequently purchased products and is always subject to change. Worthwhile to checkout-I think so.

 Re: Pro Deals
Its not a scam....Its for PROFESSIONALS. You need a Password in order to join your specific group. It's overstock.com but everything is 75% off. Far from a scam....
I should mention this is not open to the general public, and group information is only given to Police officers, firefighters, Military, Outdoor educators, and those in professional sports. So this really only applies to those people. I have my discount because of my outdoor education background. When you use the shit everyday and it costs $280+ for a Patagonia Down Jacket, you want these deals.
EDIT: I work for NOLS (The National Outdoor Leadership School) a world renowned, and accredited University who gives students credits from the University of Utah for outdoor education.

MAYBE one of us belongs to or knows someone who belongs to one of the sponsored organizations who doesn't already know about it. As far as coats goes, my aunt runs a string of sweatshops in Vietnam that makes all of the high-end outdoor wear in this country. :)

I love that movie. I work in a dining center at the college I go to, and I can definitely agree that working in the food service industry sucks balls.

 Re: Pro Deals
This was a gesture for those who it may apply to. Like people who were in the MILITARY and if I am correct there are quite a few people who frequent the server who are serving, going to be, or have. Look if it doesn't apply to your line of work that's cool, but you don't need to be a dick about it. If buying products for the factory prices is a scam I must be dumb...but I'm sure those who this applies to would much rather pay the full price instead of 75% off. I wouldn't post something unless I knew what I was talking about. I've been a promotive member for 3 years and saved AT LEAST 2 grand on gear. must be a scam.

What sort of credentials do you provide to show that work for NOLS? Curious as I have some background with MDOC (Michigan Department of Corrections) MDNR (Michigan Department of Natural Resources) but I'm not sure what status I would hold considering most of my work was voluntary, similar to a volunteer firefighter. Just some things I do for work to kiss ass.
