Did anyone pre-purchase it? I did! I'm really excited for this game...I played GW1 before WoW came out and I love how balanced the PvP was. Anyone else planning on playing when the game comes out?

Ya I pre purchased it.

I've been playing ALL weekend during the BWE. I really like the game but It's not finished. I didn't PvE much because I didn't want to ruin it for me so I PvP'ed the whole time. The whole downed thing sucks. People need to be dead when their hp reaches zero. Also the game is a little too erratic. They need to smooth it up a little bit. Other than that, holy shit this game will be sweet.

I did the opposite. I was very active in GW1 PvP and the PvE was lacking. I was way more interested in the PvE this time around, I managed to get a guardian to level 27 before succumbing to the real world and homework and such. I can say that this game is going to be pretty wild. I was half assing my way around with a buddy of mine and between the two of us we managed to get all but the glitched events between kessex and shaemoor.

OH MAN. The boss battles were beyond wild. When we got into the thick of it, I was tearing shit up and doing huge AoE everywhere and then when shit got real, there were 50 people fighting and I was soaking up most of the damage for them. Holy dicks was it cool. I mean seriously, when else can you teleport into a group of struggling low levels drop a shield that punches back all of the enemies and then proceed to wreak havoc all over their faces?

And the sheer amount of shit you could do! Swim fights, jumping. Jumping! I shat bricks when they had parts where you had to navigate carefully. Like seriously. Beyond awesome.

Side note: the sound effects are legit. When things started blowing up it was like I was watching a movie. I am excited.
