 oops i did it again...
I have to keep remembering that I have such a warped sense of humor and a cynical outlook on life that I need to be careful what I say. In fact, I don't talk much anymore. When I do talk, I tend to sugar coat what I say, or do my own little private part to make things pleasant.
Anyone else having this problem? Maybe I should seek professional help.

Re: oops i did it again...
I do the same shit, but i bite my tongue when i know someone around will give me a world of shit and public ridicule. Only reason i still don't bark back is because in high school and what people think of you still matters in there. But i dunno, maybe a doctor's visit will help, either that or anger management

Re: oops i did it again...
I think that other people must think it's about anger. It is geared more out of shear boredom. To me, it is the spark that can eventually stimulate interesting conversation. I love when I get a reply like: "Damn, nice way of thinking!" or "Go F*CK yourself!", but lately I get this shocked look, silence, watery eyes, etc.
I always think to myself, "Dang, I'm messed up in the head." The shock factor is fun, but I may be too intimidating. Either that or people have grown weak minded.
I mean, I understand about being in High School. Image is still important, but these days schools have suppressed expression. You normally don't worry about what you say with friends, but when you become too comfortable expressing yourself, it extends to other people in your life.
I mean, if I expressed how I felt about everything, I would be banned from the internet, school, church, the list goes on and on.
Maybe I just need an outlet that will let me keep taking things a step further, but it seems that you can't even make a comment on Facebook or Twitter without the world jumping your shit. I may just start with my artwork or creative writing again.
I know, I'll write and illustrate children's books! J/K <-- see, I put that there so people understand not to take that comment seriously. i need to map out my sarcasm now.

I love this post.. I am the same way I have the same problem/fuckt up sense of humor and taking things to the next level where akward/uncomfortable become standard and offensive/sadistic is the goal.

Re: oops i did it again...
maybe you should start a private website where humor like that is encouraged.

Re: oops i did it again...
I love saying awkward shit just for reaction sake all the time! Except at work, I have learned that lesson well that you must always be on your guard at a place of employment as to what you say. Outside of work I say F*CK it, you don't like my opinion then walk away as I laugh at you. Remember the golden rule though, if you can't defend your opinion then keep it to yourself or don't get all butt hurt when someone rips you a new one for it.

Sir, have you been watching Monty Python too much?
If you really have "warped sense of humor and a cynical outlook" you shouldn't consider the "shocked look, silence, watery eyes" as a problem.
'Nuf said and I still love you for the green bow avatar from few months ago.

The reason is that I normally wouldn't share that type of humor/thoughts with someone that I didn't think would be able to embrace it. It isn't that I walk around preying on people that I want to make cry. I've been keeping things mild since I made this post and I've been getting rolling laughter. So, I won't say half of what I'm thinking. It just may be too much for people to handle.

Re: oops i did it again...
Speak for yourself. I overheard someone tell another person they were gonna shit on that person's face. I then proceeded to troll them by asking if he was going to exfoliate his skin with ass juices.

I know what you mean exactly, having to just about self censor your thoughts towards others just to seem 'normal'. Honestly, i think schools have always suppressed self expression, i mean what is the most realistic thing that'll happen if you say, speak your mind on a social issue that most people in the class disagree but you agree. You'll get laughed at ergo suppressed/ostracized and told to STFU. Either way thats my 2 cents, cant wait to tell this school to F*CK off. Also thats why i joined n00bfest, to have a diverse community, too bad i still feel too shy to express my real sentiments on our forums

Re: oops i did it again...
Shit, the only time I don't speak my mind is when I realize that the situation calls for a little more tact. Then I just 'tone it down' but really try hard not to completely censor what I want to say, even in public.

Re: oops i did it again...
lol i just say what comes to mind, people often don't want to be friends cuz they think im too extreme lulz, only a few people can understand its just for lulz. i just figure why tone it down? people are too mild and afraid of saying stuff... just my 2cents
