But the game isn't that great, so I don't really play it.

Was a die-hard Starsiege: Tribes fan, but after playing that game, any sequel to it just doesn't compare. They changed too much crap. It's one of those 'Nothing needed changed, but some updated graphics wouldn't hurt.'

I wouldn't know personally bout the other Tribes games, I've never played any of the original tribes or other sequels. Well shit only reason i tried this game was because it reminded me of my old Halo days, wasn't what i wanted but i liked it alot

I played the beta, thought it was gay... Haven't touched it since.

i play it quite a bit. i find it pretty fun it reminds me of quake when you play the "walled in" custom maps. its a super fast fps and i kind of miss really fast ones. however it does have a lot of tie ins to make it halo-esque and i would have appreciate it if it were like tribes 2. all in all if you want to add me in game its the same name as i am here :P

yeah i think tribes 2 was a lot more fun than ascend but ascend still keeps fast paced fps. i really don't enjoy that fact that most of the classes are actually really bad when you look at the pro scene. its pretty much only 3 classes that get played and its very obvious why they do. the 5v5 game type confirms that harshly.
