So basically find old smartphone, go to MS store and swap it for new windows 7.5 phone. I went there yesterday and swapped the old blackberry (which I got from my kind boss :)) for new Nokia Lumia 710 (don't argue about the choice). They provide phones fro T-Mobile, ATT and Verizon (not sure about Sprint and other carriers). Since they didn't have the phone in stock when I was there, I got additional $10 MS store gift card.

You can forget about winning the $1000 laptop - almost impossible. I prepared my HTC Amaze 4G for all challenges I saw. MS guy looked at my home screen and "let's see which challenge I didn't have for a long time...". It was take a photo -> tag yourself -> post on FB.

And it is legit - coworker just came back from the MS store with new HTC Trophy.

For a person that lives in Seattle the capital of Microsoft, Windows phones suck. I've had several Windows phones and I gave up on them, but I'm glad to see that Microsoft is doing this:)

I don't have one of those stores here either. I like the phones because of the features for Xbox live, but I got an iPhone though so I wouldn't want to switch to any other phone. Sweet deal though

A buddy of mine drove to atlanta (~2 hours from here) to get one. Phone seemed nice, but apparently the APP support sucks and is much like blackberry app world and still doesn't compare to iphone/android...at least for the free apps.

Pay for angry birds? Lols
