I was planning on getting a job at sobeys, MacDonalds or Boston pizza. Does anyone know if I would have to take a drug test if I were to apply?

With there turn over rate for employee's I don't think they can afford too, lol.

it depends. If its a private owned Franchise they can decide. If its a corporate owned franchise chances are they will do a urine anylysis

probably not but to be safe i would at least stop smoking for a couple weeks and if possible get a system detox, just in case

I have never worked with any type of food that drug tested. I got a mouth swab at krogers once but that shit didnt work considering I was stoned when I went in. I did brush my teeth and rinse before hand though, that's prolly why. Usually with retail and places where a drug addict could support their habit with theft make you submit a drug test.

Path: If you really have a hard time laying off drugs for a week or two so you can get a job at a fast food place, then you got worse problems to think about than passing a piss test...

If the piss test you look for a bottle of stuff called "omni" drink and alot (like 2 gallons of water) wait abit, piss until you start getting color, and your good to go..

Mcdonalds where I worked did and gamestop didn't but those both back in 04/05 lol butif u go for management they require piss test...but stay clean not that hard

Seriously, just quit smoking, for multiple reasons. one its more cash in the pocket for better things to do with your life, two getting a job is that much easier, and three... cops.

I've never had to take a piss test for a job, but I never smoked before getting hired either, nor will i ever. Where I currently work, they WILL piss test if you have an onsite accident i.e. cut yourself with a box cutter or wreck the forklift, this is a common theme to watch out for as well, cause it will burn you in the end.
