So we just moved and I had some issues getting my video working again. now I have my computer working and am able to log in to steam. but when I start to play CS the slpash screen opens in a small window and then it disapers and I am never able to play. If anyone has any idea of how to fix this please help

Make sure all the wires, cards, and components are still tightly plugged in. Moving has a way of dislodging components.

Anyway, verify the integrity of the CS install (google it like someone with an IQ above 90), delete ClientRegistry.blob (see previous), reinstall CS:S. After that, you're fucked.
