Re: Steam Daily Deal. Rage was good. It had the same corridor style gameplay you know and love from id, but a little expanded with some varied gameplay. I bought it right away more or less to support id. My biggest criticism is that it ended with a poof, where I had this massive weapons cache built up and was ready to blow through a good bit of meat and bones, and then it was over in a flash. I stared at the rolling credits in despair :(
Oh, and the story is far from spectacular. However, about the most impressive facial features to date, some good voice acting (John Goodman!), and fun gameplay are what make it worth it, despite the shortcomings. Co-op is fun too! |
