Post Clorox's New Rig
Hey guys whatsup. I was originally not going to buy any new Pc parts other than Hardrive space but i figured i couldnt pass this up.

Im selling my current Mid-low end gaming rig to my younger brother for 350 bucks. All he plays is WoW and minecraft so he should be able to easily max out both games with some room to spare with the Radeon Hd 5750, tri-core and 4gb ram

I am then using the difference to build myself a newer rig that is quite a bit better

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6811147108
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6817139020
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6820178382
MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813157280
CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819103851
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814102948
Hardrive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6822136769
DvD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6827106289

Overall the cost of this machine is roughly 700 bucks. so for the difference of 350 i think i got a great deal

Everything looks good. Rosewill cases are great and highly underappreciated. They are made by Newegg after all.

Right now your bottlneck is the HDD. When you have a bit more to spare, buy another Caviar (same model) and set them up in RAID-0.

yah i know my harddrive is a bit low but harddrive space is easy enough to come by and upgrade later so im not too worried. I mainly only built this system on a tight budget because i wanted to help my brother out by selling him my old comp

I might actually just copy you and buy the same rig. I'm also on a tight budget and everything looks pretty good. All I've got right now is an HP G62-34OUS which definitely isn't very good for gaming at all. Bought it for $400 a year a go. Now that I have money coming in, I definitely gotta get something stand-still with some power to play things like Skyrim.

I've had this Corsair HX850 for awhile but I decided to not hit SLI afterward with my EVGA 570 so I might end up selling it (My next potential upgrade might not use it either (CPU/Mobo/Ram))

A smart consumer build; I'm impressed.

I don't think I'm going to buy another HDD till they drop down from their ridiculous prices.

Looks good, though.

If you're gonna build a setup like that...go a little crazy with the case. Get some pretty lights and an H-80 :)

I hope prices of HDD's keep going up. So much technology...and the next wave of drives will require even more investments. Consumers like Tucker have been spoiled for far to long. Don't you read the news...beyond our borders. I told all of you about the flooding in Thailand. It wiped out over 1,000 factories including two of the company that Clorox bought his latest HDD from.

Ya looks like it should be a solid PC. A few months back I built a computer for my buddy with that same case and was really pleased. Its spacious, well built, and has great airflow from all those fans.

So far Im quite pleased with the results. The only thing I should've done was go modular because even though the case has a lot of airflow my Psu has so many cables that management is a real bitch.

Other than that all my games run flawlessly smooth even on there highest graphical settings
