Post Health Question
Hey guys I know this is a Gaming community but i Have a question About Health, More importantly My health

I have been having this pain on the right of my abdomen directly beneath my ribcage for about 6-8 months. Its Not to unbearable and seems to come and go as it pleases, It usually happens if i sit for long periods or eat really acidic or greasy foods (although smoking will flare it up occasionally). Also i have noticed a small amount of weight loss attributed to this.

I have done some research and to me it looks like a Gallbladder disorder but i don't want to rule out anything including Pancreantitis or cancer

I think i should definitely make an appointment to see a Dr. But i was curious if you guys could lend me some advice if you know anything offhand, any advice or experience with this issue personally would be a Big help

Thanks!

I'm no doctor, but I'd guess it's something like gallstones or kidney stones, but those generally get bad quickly. If it's been going on for months, then I'd go see a doctor for sure.

I had and still have this problem. After many tests (x rays, contrast MRI/CT scan, colonoscopy) they still have no answer for me and are leaning towards a diagnosis of irritable bowel syndrome. It feels like a low pain sometimes and othertimes like just a numbness or mass. They saw nothing, though.

You should absolutely ask for one of the tests above just so that you can clear your head about it.

Could it be your appendix? You would probably know if it was, because it hurts like a bitch, but who knows. I would definitely make an appointment with a doctor, just to be safe. Don't mess around with your health.

well its not that the pain is inbearable its more of a dull ache that comes and goes but the fact that its directly below my ribcage on my right side is somewhat concerning. Also the pain will radiate towards my back a bit but then goes away

Eh if its right side upper abdomen really it would be your liver/gall bladder left upper abdomen would be pancreas stomach spleen lower right abdomen close to your pelvis (if u can feed your pelvic bone move over about 1-2inches towards the center of your body) and that would be more likely appendix.

it would be your Right Lumbar region towards your Right Hypochondriac region. Its most likely your gall bladder it seems but also could be something with your liver and digestion of food. But you say it also hurts sometimes when you smoke so that would be more inflammation of one of your organs. Anyways best go to a dr asap and figure it out now than have something easily cured or at least manage before it gets out of hand. Ie: rush to ER

Ulcer, IMO at worst. Acidic foods triggering it is a dead giveaway to the possibility. Gallstones are also a possibliity.

Drink plenty o water and go see your doctor, nothing major to worry about. Anything serious would show more signs and be more debilitating. Now if you had painsi n your upper chest region Id worry, till you see your doctor though, stop being a fatty with eating ♥

Sounds like Gallbladder,i just had mine out about a month ago.Go do the puke test and a ultrasound. They most likely wont do a ct unless those come back negative. But even if your Gallbladder checks ok it doesnt mean its healthy.Mine checked good for like five years and i finally insisted they remove it and it had like 2-3 pounds of scare tissue on it where it was sick for years. But i will say when i had gallbladder attacks all always got kinda sick to my stomach, and felt like i was having a heart attack. The things you listed like greasy foods and acidic shit are all triggers. The wieght loss is probably from worrying about it,and you must be or you wouldnt come to a gaming forum for medical advice. But who knows you could just have a big turd up in there.Go to the doctor.

Clorox, just for future reference. If you have a bad feeling about your personal health, and you think it has something to do with an Organ. Skip the whole going to the forum and waiting for responses thing. It wont help you. There are no doctors here. You won't get anything worth the time. No matter how good the advice seems, it's just a non professional opinion. The best option you have is just going to see a doctor. A professional opinion is the only one you should be seeking. I've had gallstones, kidney stones. Ruptured kidneys, liver, spleen, and I still wouldn't give advice on it. One off symptom can mean something completely different. All i'm saying is NEVER seek medical advice from anyone other than a professional.

You can see a doctor but I don't go to doctors much because usually I get bad advice. I don't know how that is possible seeing as how these people study for years to tell me what to put into my body, but usually it isn't good advice but maybe I have yet to see a good doctor. Most of the stuff I've had wrong with me I've cured or managed to alleviate on my own with my own methods.

Take one shot of apple cider vinegar a day, learn how to make Kombucha Tea (or just buy it) and drink at least 8oz a day but not too too much. Drink at least 4 glasses of CLEAN water a day (don't drink tap water unless you boil it first to make the chlorine evaporate), and don't drink too many soft drinks or alcoholic beverages. Spend a lot more time paying attention to your breathing and try to extend the length and depth of your natural inhalations and exhalations.
