So I am going to be making some sweet cash this summer, and wondered, should I get a 360 first or a new comp? I need to play alot of games I missed, like finishing Dead space 2, Dragon age 2, ME2, halo reach, the newest red faction, yet I have alot of games on the PC I need to finish too. I was going to wait after E3 to see if microsoft unveils a new console, word is they might have something in the works. If I get a PC it's going to be through Ibuypower, either an x4 AMD 965 black edition, or an X6, and either a 1G 256-512 ATI radeon 5770, or a maybe the new 6 series. Which should I get first? I started as a console gamer, went to PC. I dont need an xbox, but it'd be fun to have one. I havent had a console since my PS2 and Xbox days.

All those games you just listed are 10x better on a decked out PC...Xbox and consoles will always be restricted on what they can do, PC can be tweaked and tuned to w/e performance or price range you want...its a no brainer dude...plus if you really want the xbox experience just torrent a 360 emulator, dl the games and get a usb controller (but remember to put on your bra and panties first). Pc all the way ive got a 360 and hardly use it for anything besides movies now. Thats all its pretty much useful for anyhow.

Build the pc yourself.Then you will have a much better pc and enough cash left to buy a box.No sense in trying to buy the latest and greatest in pc parts,it will be old in 6 months.

Unless they come out with some really, really amazing shit that you cant get anywhere else, I don't see myself ever getting another console. ESPECIALLY a 360. Get a computer, dude. you won't be sorry, like you would be if you got the 360.

further thoughts: Think about it this way. A couple few 6 months back, my video card shit the bed. I got a new card and fixed it. I was back up in less than a week. If it was a 360 and the video went, I'd have to pay the shipping to send it in for repair, wait however F*CKING long the repair is going to take, and HOPEFULLY it's still under warranty. If it is, then you're good. if not, well then F*CK. What's that, Microsoft? Parts and repair charges are about $275? and a brand-new 360 is $300? time for a new 360 (or not).

Well if you do what I did you could get both. I bought my 360 rebuilt and moded for $120 and i don't have to buy games, yay!
